Shaquille O’Neal was born in Newark, New Jersey, in the United States of America. His father’s name is Joe Toney, and his mother is Lucille O’Neal. Shaquille’s parents were never married, his father was addicted to drugs, and after Shaq’s birth, he went to prison because of his drug addiction. After his father’s arrest, Shaq and his mother did not have any contact with him, and his mother married Phillip Harrison; he was a sergeant in the United States when the army, Shaq, was two years old. He moved to Germany with his family because of his stepfather’s military work and spent his teenage life there. Then when he was 16 years old, he again moved to San Antonio, Texas.
