Robert Maillet’s Career as a professional Wrestler

Robert Maillet started his wrestling career in 1989 under the guidelines of Leo Burke, Bret Hart, and Stephen Petitpas. After that, he appeared in the ring of Atlantic Grand Prix Wrestling. In 1991, he made his first appearance for the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in Utica, New York; under Giant Kurgan’s name, he fought against Bob Bradley and won that match. After that, he appeared in South Korea and Japan with the new name Goliath El Gigante. Then in 1997, he became a member of The Truth Commission with Donald Callis. 

Robert went to the United States with his team members, competed in the watch, and won the USWA World Tag Team Championships. After that match, Robert worked under the new name Kurrgan, and he worked with Jackyl. But unfortunately, the team was disbanded, and Robert began to appear as a solo for matches. Finally, in 1998, Robert joined the Royal Rumble team, but he left after a few months. 

After that, he joined Jackyl’s new group named Oddities, and after few years Robert left the group because of Jackyl replacement. After that, Robert worked for Jacques Rougeau’s wrestling team under the name of Kurgan. In 2005, he appeared in a match with Jim Duggan; after that, Robert retired from Professional Wrestling matches.
