Robert Griffin was born in Okinawa, Japan. His father’s name is Robert Griffin, Jr. and his mother’s name is Jacqueline, and they both worked in the Army sergeants stationed. There is no information about his siblings, and it is unknown whether he has a sibling or is the only child in his family. He spent his early life in Fort Lewis near Tacoma, Washington, then moved to New Orleans, Louisiana, because of his parents’ transfer. 

After his parents’ retirement, they all settled in Cove, Texas. Since childhood, he has been interested in sports because of his father; he is a basketball player in his high school.
