Cam Newton was born in Atlanta, Georgia, the United States of America. His father’s name is Cecil Sr., played as a safety in the Buffalo Bills and Dallas Cowboys. His mother’s name is Jackie. He has two brothers, one older one and one younger brother. Cam’s older brother, Cecil Jr., is also a football player who played for the Jackson Jaguars team. 

His younger brother, Caylin, is also a football player, and he played as quarterback for the Howard University team until 2010. Cam was born into a sports family and used to exercise daily. Cam played basketball and baseball at a young age, but he quit playing both as an adult. Later he became interested in football and developed his playing skills in football.
