Ahmad Rashad joined the NFL draft in 1972 in St. Louis Cardinals and was on the UPI All-Rookie Team. After the the1973 season, he was traded to the Buffalo Bills in quarterback Dennis shaw, and because of his knee injury, he was out after the 1975 season. Ahmad trained with Seattle Seahawks and started his trade season with Minnesota Vikings. Ahmad had gained success with Vikings in his first season itself. And the team went to Super Bowl. Then he earned more than four pro bowls between 1978 to 1998.
Then Ahmad left his career in NFL with 495 passes along with 6840 yards and 40 touchdowns. After that, he returned in 1980, played against Cleveland Browns, and received a quarterback Hail Mary pass with a 28-24 victory.
