Shania Twain was born in Windsor, Canada. Her father’s name is Clarence Edwards, and her mother’s name is Sharon Morrison, and their occupations are unknown. She has two sisters, names, Jill Edwards and Carrie-Ann Edwards. Shania’s parents were divorced when she was only two years old; after the divorce, she lived with her mother and two sisters. Then her mother remarried Jerry Twain, and after the marriage, he adopted Shania and her sisters. She has a half-brother named Mark Twain from her mother’s remarriage with Jerry. 

Shania faced a lot of struggles in her early life because her stepfather was abusive, and he used to fight regularly with her mother.
