Ric Flair was born in Memphis, Tennessee, United States. His biological parents’ names are Luther and Olive Phillips. Later he was adopted by Richard Reid Fliehr and Kathleen Virginia Kinsmiller, and they adopted Ric from Tennessee Children’s Home society. Ric’s adoptive father’s name is Dr Richard Reid Fliehr, an obstetrics and gynaecologist in a hospital in Detroit, Michigan. His mother is Kathleen Fliehr, and she worked in the Star Tribune newspaper. After the adoption, he moved to Edina, Minnesota, along with his parents and was brought there. Since childhood, he has been interested in wrestling, and he went to class to learn it, and his parents are very supportive and encourage him to achieve his goal as a wrestler.

Ric Flair was born in Memphis, Tennessee, United States, on February 25, 1949, and he is 73 years old as of 2022, and his birth name is Richard Morgan Fliehr, and his biological parents brought him up. On August 28, 1971, Ric married Leslie Goodman, and they had two children, David and a daughter Megan. Ric’s son David is a retired professional wrestler, and they both appeared together in the television show run-up to WrestleMania X 8 in 2002. In 1983, Ric and Leslie filed for divorce and separated officially after 12 years of happy marriage life. 

Ric Flair was second married to Elizabeth Harrell on August 27, 1983; they both have two children, one daughter, Ashley, and a son, Reid. In 1974, Ric joined the National Wrestling Alliance, and he won his first singles title on February 8, 1975, against Paul Jones. 

On July 29, 1977, He won the United States Heavyweight Championship in NWA against Bobo Brazil. After that, he won more than five championships in the next three years. On September 17, 1981, Ric won his first NWA World Heavyweight Championship by defeating Dusty Rhodes. After that, Ric used a unique and different style of shouting Woooo during his match, which has become a trademark in a short period.

Ric has held the championship for more than two years, and on July 26, 1986, he lost the championship against Dusty Rhodes in The Great American Bash. Ric was the person who has inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, and for the first time, he was inducted in 2008 because of his contribution to wrestling and for the second time as a member of the team the Four Horsemen in 2012. Ric Flair officially retired from wrestling on March 30, 2008, after he lost the match against Shawn Micheals in the match held in XXIV in Orlando, Florida.
