Emma’s acting career

She had an immense desire to become an actress from the age of six, for which she got training in acting, dancing, and singing at a part-time theatre school – the Oxford branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts. She started performing in Stagecoach productions by the age of ten in the school plays, but it was not the beginning of her professional acting career. She professionally acted in the Harry Potter series.

Emma made a beginning and breakthrough in an acting career in 1999 when casting commenced for harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Her confidence brought her a prominent childhood role in this movie as Hermione Granger, Harry’s school friend. In 2013, she started taking adult roles. The release of “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” in 2001, her debut screen performance, brought tremendous success for Emma. After that, she acted in many movies.

A controversy over showing part of her breasts by Emma

Emma has a banana body type, a petite figure with a medium height of 5’5″, slim waist, small breasts (32A bra size), and contracted hips. Despite her innocent appearance, Emma is a sex symbol for many of her fans. In 2005, Emma kick-started her modeling career. She posed for many famous magazines. A debate started on Emma’s decision to exposing part of her boobs on a photoshoot at Vanity Fair. She describes herself as a feminist, as Emma entered into activism in 2014 when she was appointed U.N. Goodwill Ambassador for the work of women empowerment and to promote educational equality globally. In Emma’s words, women are sexualized. She said that it was a misunderstanding. The accusations calling her anti-feminist are wrong. Baring breast doesn’t mean not being a feminist. She said that men also expose their nipples on photoshoots.

Wrap up

Emma has done too much for young girls and women. There is no way to criticize Emma on the bare breast issue. Women will continue to face these controversies by the male communities.
