Educational Background And Life As A Student
From childhood, she was very bright as a student. After finishing school, she got admitted to Toronto University and completed her BA in Economics and History in 1988. Next, she mastered War Studies in the year of 1996. She continued her higher education and completed Ph.D. from Oxford University with a paper on Modern British History. Later in 2010, from Cranfield University, she finished her study in Defense Strategic Leadership Program. In her early youth, she was also fascinated by music. But her love for history and war studies left that passion untouched.
Beginnings and Later Career
She was formerly an administrator of Toronto University for six years, from 1988 to 1994. In 1992, she also worked as a logistics officer of the Canadian Armed Forces. In 2000 she joined a battalion (infantry) as a divisional officer. From 2006 to 2017, Lynette worked as the principal consultant of war studies for LMC Consultant. At the same time, she guests lectured at the UK University of Reading (2006-12). The most important turn of her career was in 2007 when she began as devil’s advocate and intelligence advisor at UK Cabinet. Soon within a year, she uplifted to the position of Strategic Horizons Head. She appeared in the BBC show Time Commanders and many other documentary tv shows. She is recently writing in the columns of Huffington Post and Times of Israel.

Lynette is also a writer. Being very highly educated, she always had an interest in books and studies. She has written many books related to her interest, i.e., War Studies and Military Strategy. Her most appreciated three books include War and Conflict, The Battle of Bannockburn 1314 and 1314: Bannockburn, all written about the 1314 Scottish War.

Lynette met her later partner Melanie Bright at her university, and they felt an immediate interest in each other. Later in 1998, the couple knot the tie. They spent nine long, happy, peaceful years together until Lynette changed her gender. And the change of gender couldn’t change their relationship.
