Soon after, he was awarded the chance to serve in the positions of deputy to chief economic policy advisor and monetary policy analyst in 2008 for the Presidential Campaign of John McCain.

Charles Krauthammer was born in Manhattan, New York City, the United States of America, on March 13, 1950. He was raised in an Orthodox Jewish family background; his father’s name is Shulim Krauthammer, and Thea Horowitz was his mother’s. He studied at Herzliah High School; after that, he joined McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and studied for his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics in 1970. Then he joined Balliol College, located in Oxford, UK, then he joined Harvard Medical School and graduated there.

Charles is interested in psychiatry and has started to publish some research papers in the Archives of General Psychiatry. Then he was appointed as a director of Psychiatric research, and he used to participate in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders’ third edition publishing. In 1984, Charles was a member of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. In 1980, he was appointed the US 42nd Vice President Walter Mondale speechwriter. Then he went o work as a political commentator and columnist for the New Republic and Time. On June 8, 2018, he passed away because of small intestine cancer; at the time, he was 68 years old.
